RED ALERT! Something major just happened at EPCOT, and if you weren’t excited for the summer before, you’re going to be now.
Test Track is opening late this summer, and this is a huge step forward.
The construction walls around Test Track are now GONE. We repeat – the walls are down! The walls were replaced with bushes, but that means Disney can easily move them when they’re ready!
EPCOT is no stranger to walls, and we had a few months of wall-free EPCOT before Test Track went under construction and the walls came back. The walls are gone, and we couldn’t be happier.
New signage for Test Track was released last week, and now you can see it in front of the attraction. We still don’t have news on a reopening date beyond late summer 2025, but when the walls come down, we know we’re getting closer to hopping in and taking a ride.
Disney has dropped a few details on the changes coming to the attraction, but hasn’t released too much information. We know that there will be influences from the original World of Motion, the original attraction in the space, and that different car makers from throughout the years will be represented.
We got a look at the new cars coming, which look sleek and modern! We are so excited to ride this attraction, which has been closed since June 2024. It’s almost been a year since it closed, and ever since, we’ve been counting the days until we can buckle in, pull on the yellow tab, and ride.
We’ll keep watching for more details, and most importantly, the reopening date, so make sure you keep following Disney Food Blog for more.

I loved the original World of Motion. It didn’t get much better than Horizons and World of Motion back to back.
